Creator / Producer – Steven Deeble
Steven Deeble is an award-winning writer, photographer, and filmmaker. He studied Film Theory and Criticism at UC Irvine, where he also served as the photography editor of the student newspaper and as a contributing writer and illustrator to the graduate student magazine. He produces promotional, industrial, and training videos for broadcast, DVD, and the web. He recently produced projects featuring Senator Barbara Boxer, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, former President William Clinton, and author Anne Rice.
He has served as associate producer on two feature films. Thursday’s Lovers premiered this year at the Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema. Lisl and the Lorlock is in post-production and is scheduled for release in early 2011. He has also written, produced, and directed three short films and co-produced several others. He is currently in pre-production on a web series called Compassionate Cleaning Service. He in production on a feature documentary, The Amazing Story of Forry, about the late Forrest J. Ackerman, editor of Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine.
Producer – Allison Vanore
Allison Vanore is an award-winning independent film producer currently in production on multiple webseries including new sci-fi hit, SOLO The Series, a feature film, Hopelessly in June, and three short films with other projects in development. Her other work can be found on alliecine.com.
When Allison first moved to Los Angeles, she spent five years with Georgopoulos Design Associates as the Director of Creative Operations. This motion graphics, design and interactive production house worked with clients such as Disney, ABC, Touchstone, Sony, Imagination, Yahoo, and Miramax. In 2006, under her direction, the Tarzan II Interactive game, Gorilla Grumble was awarded Best Direct to DVD Interactive Experience. Allison managed the development and creation of 3D elements and game functionality for the DVD games Pirates of the Caribbean Treasure Hunt, Disney’s Trivial Pursuit and Deal or No Deal Australia, Germany and Italy. Additionally, Allison co-wrote and produced a five-episode pilot cooking show with Yahoo! for their Lifestyles department.
In 2008, with these marketing, branding, and interactive projects behind her, Allison left GDA and sister division Georgopoulos Design Environments to pursue independent film as well as start her own consulting company focusing on social media marketing with business partner, Jillian Gilbert, called New City Social.
Allison has a BFA from the University of Arizona in Media Arts with an emphasis in film and a minor in theatre production.
